“PAW Prints”

“PAW” Prints

A weekly column of Jensen Memorial Library

by Jackie Webster

It is with great pleasure that I write the first weekly column updating everyone on the progress and happenings @ your library. The recent improvements to the facility literally coined the title of our weekly column, “PAW (patrons always welcome) Prints”.  Providing a welcoming environment for patrons of all ages is our first priority and the recent renovation supports this goal.  In addition, your library is committed to continually moving forward by implementing new and innovative ways to support education, emerging technologies, information and reference resources, and entertainment options.   In keeping with our column motto the library would like to say “Thank You” for your support and patience during this process by offering “Free Fine Fridays”.   In an effort to provide access to materials, all patrons with overdue items that return their materials on these “Freebie” days will have their fines waived – no matter how large or small the fee – it will be removed from your record and if privileges have been revoked, they will be reinstated.

So mark your calendar – the first “Free Fine Friday” will be on March 23rd.
